AI Funding Report, October 2026

20 AI funding rounds, $823.9M in total. Every amount is one a source states, and every row links to it.

20 AI funding rounds announced in October 2026 are recorded here, totalling $823.9M. The largest was RapidCanvas at $29.0M. The median round was $11.0M.

Every round on this page meets two conditions before it is published: AI has to be the company's core product rather than something it uses, and at least two independent publishers have to have reported the round. A round carried by one outlet is not listed, however plausible it looks. Amounts are shown only where a source states them, converted to US dollars at the rate on the announcement date.

By stage: 2 series b, 1 series a, 3 seed. 14 did not disclose a stage. 1 of these companies has a listing in the directory.

Frequently asked questions

How many AI companies raised funding in October 2026?
20 rounds that meet the bar on this page, totalling $823.9M. That is not every AI round announced in the month: a round is only listed once two independent publishers have reported it, so anything carried by a single outlet is held back.
Where do these figures come from?
Public funding announcements, each linked from the row it belongs to. Nothing is estimated and nothing is modelled. Where a company did not disclose an amount, the row says so rather than carrying a guess.
What counts as an AI company here?
One whose core product is the model, the agent or the AI software itself. A logistics company that uses AI to plan routes is a logistics company, and a business announcing that it will invest in AI is not an AI business. That line excludes several rounds a looser definition would have counted.
Why are amounts in US dollars?
So the monthly total means something. Rounds are announced in several currencies, and each is converted at the rate on its announcement date rather than today's, so a figure here does not move after the fact.
