Lumen5 pulls out what it thinks are the key points, along with text and imagery from the page if you gave it a URL. Second, its AI Script Composer reads that material and returns several script variations with different angles and tones. You pick one and adjust length or style. Third, the platform automatically pairs your chosen script with media, timing and motion, and you get a rough cut within seconds.

That middle step is the interesting part. Most text-to-video tools turn your article into slides line by line. Lumen5 tries to find the strongest story in your content first and gives you options instead of one take. After the rough cut, you can change backgrounds, text and graphics, add your watermark, and reformat into different aspect ratios for LinkedIn, Instagram or internal channels. The AI Voiceover library has more than 40 voices, including multilingual options, and Talking Head lets you drop in clips of your own presenters with callouts and cutaways without leaving the editor. There's also in-app and screen recording, a media library, video templates, and automatic translation listed among the workflows.

The pitch is aimed squarely at marketers, L&D and internal comms teams who already have a pile of written content and want video out of it without hiring an editor. Lumen5 says no editing experience is required, and the workflow backs that up.
