Tana

The meeting usually isn't the expensive part. The two hours afterward are: writing up notes, retyping bugs into Linear, drafting the follow-up to the customer, updating HubSpot, and chasing three people who each think someone else owns the decision. Tana's own pitch puts a number on it, "You'll spend 30,000 hours in meetings," and shows a calendar where a 5 PM to 6:45 PM "Follow-ups" block disappears once the work gets done during the calls themselves.

This Tana, at tana.inc, is an "agentic meeting platform," and it's a separate product from Tana Outliner, the company's note-taking tool with Supertags at outliner.tana.inc. The claim is blunt: "Tana doesn't take notes." It captures your calls on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or its own hosted calls, then proposes actions while you're still talking. It files the Linear issue with the screenshot attached, drafts the email, logs the decision with an owner and updates the CRM. A person accepts each action, so nothing fires off unreviewed. It also captures from your own machine, so no bot joins the call as a participant, which matters if you've watched a client frown at "Otter.ai Notetaker" in the participant list.

The second half of the product is a knowledge graph that every call feeds into. Ask "What did we decide regarding SSO?" and you get the decision, the owner, the reasoning and the calls it came from, with access limited to the people who were in the room. It connects to GitHub, Slack, HubSpot, Linear, Jira, Google Calendar, Outlook and coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor and Codex through MCP. That makes it a strong fit for product and engineering teams. It's less convincing if your work lives in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, since both integrations are still marked "coming soon." The free tier works as a trial of the memory features, but the agent behavior that justifies the product sits on Pro.
