Figma is where most product teams do serious UI work, but it assumes you already know what you're designing and have the skills to push pixels until it looks right. Uizard comes at the problem from the other end. Instead of a blank canvas and a toolbar, you start with a text prompt, a screenshot or a photo of a napkin sketch, and Uizard's AI turns it into an editable, multi-screen prototype. It's less about precision craft and more about getting from "I have an idea" to "here's something clickable" before the meeting ends.

The centerpiece is Autodesigner 2.0, which Uizard says can generate projects, screens and themes from simple text. You can also select any component, describe the change you want and let the AI rework it, which is a different editing model from dragging handles in Figma. Two scanners round out the AI side: Screenshot Scanner turns screenshots into editable mockups, and Wireframe Scanner digitizes hand-drawn wireframes. One testimonial on the site also mentions a predictive heat map that shows where people will focus, and another notes Autodesigner is only 1 of 9 AI tools on the platform. Real-time collaboration with your whole team is part of the pitch, and the solutions pages target product managers, founders, marketers, agencies and developers as much as designers.

The tradeoff is that the marketing leans heavily on speed and testimonials ("from zero to a clickable prototype in 30 seconds") and is light on what happens after the prototype: handoff, export and design system depth aren't covered in the source material. The free plan is a real way to try it, but 3 AI generations per month on the older Autodesigner 1.5 engine won't get you far. Paid plans start at $12/mo per the listing on uizard.io. If you're a PM or founder who needs mockups fast and doesn't live in Figma, it's a strong fit. If you're a designer building production-ready UI, treat it as a sketching layer, not a replacement.
